Narayana Press has been certified to calculate the Carbon footprint for an individual printed matter
The emission is calculated via ClimateCalc and includes the emission from production and transport of all materials as well as from printing, binding and delivery.
Quotations from Narayana Press include calculation of the CO2 footprint. If possible and relevant, the offer also contains alternative solutions that can reduce the climate impact.
As paper makes up approximately half of the CO2 emissions and there is a large difference in the footprint from the various paper types, as per this list, it will typically be a suggestion of a different paper.
When all specifications are in place, the final carbon footprint can be calculated. It can written on the copyright page, also with a logo, as shown in this example:
