Printing start-up: Øregaard Museum
Sidsel Maria Søndergaard, Director of the Øregaard Museum in Hellerup, at the start of the print run for ‘Dansk Art Deco’ (Danish Art Deco). The cover is printed on mint-green dyed paper. To ensure the colors are accurate, an opaque white ink is first printed twice beneath the images. On the KBA 8-color printing machine, this takes place in a single pass. The images on the right are merely a simulation to illustrate the principle.
Printing of cover: ‘Hjemfalden’
The cover of ‘Hjemfalden’, a poetry collection by Søren Ulrik Thomsen, is printed on Gobi recycled paper.
To preserve the colors, an opaque white primer has been used here as well.
In addition, black ink has been extracted from the image and the red text color. Published by Gyldendal.
