Fie Johansen at the printing start-up

Photographer Fie Johansen at the printing start of ‘Spreeblitz – The Quest in Plänterwald’, which is published Wunderbuch. It is printed in duotone with black and a warm beige pantone color, here a single illustration from the book. Pantone colors lie outside the CMYK color space and by printing in duotone a special expression is achieved because the images are in the same color tone throughout the entire book. The conversion to duotone was done together with Fie Johansen before printing.

More environmentally friendly inks
An eye is constantly kept on whether production can be made more environmentally friendly.
The last step is that the LED-UV inks have been replaced with a new and more environmentally friendly type.
Here Thomas Juul changes ink cartridges on one of the 8-color machines.
When an ink is changed, new test prints are made to ensure that the color management is in place.
Narayana Press is certified according to the Nordic Ecolabel, which means, among other things, that products used in production must be approved for the Nordic Ecolabel. The Nordic Ecolabel's strict environmental requirements apply to the total production, including water and energy consumption, waste sorting and paper waste, as well as compliance with the Environment and Working Environment Act.
A large part of the paper consumption must be made up of environmentally approved paper types, just as approved suppliers must mainly be used for finishing and further processing of the printed material.
Environmental improvements, like quality, are something that must be worked on all the time.
