Printing Start-Up with ARKET

On October 26th, project manager Cecilia Jonasson and graphic designer Maja Lehman were visiting to monitor the printing of ‘ARKET Cookbook for Spring Summer Autumn & Winter’. The book is published by ARKET, which is part of H&M.

ARKET wanted a sustainable production. The book was printed on Munken Print White 18 with UV LED colours, which are more environmentally friendly than traditional oil-based inks. The UV LED technology also makes it possible to print in a very fine resolution on uncoated paper.

Here Maja Lehman and Cecilia Jonasson are seen by the printing machine, comparing print and matchprint and approving the sheets before printing. Below are two entries from the book.
