On January 11, editor Cecilie Høgsbro Østergaard and graphic designer Anni Vestergaard were visiting to follow the printing of the book ‘Sonja Ferlov Mancoba - Mask and Face’, which is published by SMK in connection with the spring’s main exhibition of the same name, which can be seen from 9 February to May 5, 2019.
The richly illustrated book follows the Danish artist Sonja Ferlov Mancoba from the mid-1930s. Sonja Ferlov is especially known for her semi-abstract creatures, warrior figures and masks of clay and plaster. The book also contains texts by Mikkel Bogh, Pierre-Philippe Fraiture, Hanne-Vibeke Holst, Karen Kurczynski, Ernest Mancoba, Sonja Ferlov Mancoba and Dorthe Aagesen.

Narayana has reproduced the images. The book is printed on two types of paper, Munken Lynx and Munken Lynx Rough, as a multilingual production in Danish and English. The cover will be printed with opaque white on black canvas, which will be glued on the cardboard and then bound so that the spine is free.
