On November 7th, hand knit designer Lene Holme Samsøe was visiting to prepare the images for her new book, ‘Mig og mini strik’ (Me and Mini Knitting). The book’s recipes are for women and children, and inspired by fluffy yarns like mohair and brushed alpaca.
When choosing a knitting recipe from a book, it is important that the colours correspond to reality. Lene Holme Samsøe had therefore sent all the book’s knitting models in advance, and in order to achieve the best possible result, the colours were compared to the actual models.
After adjusting the colours on-screen, matchprints was made, and also compared to the originals.
Above, the matchprints are evaluated and compared to the originals.
At the bottom are three finished pictures from the book. The photos were taken by Tia Borgsmidt.
